Maybelline has been my favourite brand for years now ever since I got into the world of make up. Now who wouldn't love them. Their baby lips and nail polishes are the best sellers and I completely know why. Maybelline does keep on adding new products to their collection every now and then which is super exciting and this time it was The Rebel Bouquet Collection which was launched sometime ago. I received 2 nail paints and lipsticks from them about which I am super excited. I am here to tell you what I think of their lipsticks which look really amazing. I shall be reviewing REB 02 today. The lipsticks come in a long slender tube which is silver on the inside and has a transparent red cap with REBEL mentioned in bold to differentiate it from the other lipsticks. It click locks and is travel friendly. Plus it is so cool to carry them in your purse. I really liked the pretty yet fun packaging.
Maybelline had launched the REBEL collection a while ago which included eyeliners, lipsticks, foundation, pressed powder, eye liners and nail paint. Spring summer is always associated with brighter shades. They launched 6 lipsticks in the REBEL line of which I received two - no.2 and 4
REB 02 is a bright, fun and girly bright blue based pink which will suit all skin tones. I could not notice any shimmer but its glossy indeed.It is neither too glossy nor too matte which I like. They go on smoothly. You need to swipe it more than once to get the desired pigmentation which is ok with me.Post application after sometime it turns a bit matte which is nice. The lipsticks do not smell like anything which is good for those who do not like fragrance in their lipsticks. Since it is creamy it may have a tendency to move outside the lips a bit. A lip liner may work for the same but I feel it is still ok and I love the lipstick anyway. Post a meal there would be a faint tint on the lips which looks nice and I generally would prefer reapplying to keep my look intact. Overall a perfect summer lipstick worth buying and trying.
